In short
  • Your booking is confirmed when we receive the 30% deposit.
  • The balance is due by 1 March 2027.
  • Cancellations: the deposit isn’t refundable, and from 1 March 2027 the full stand price is due.
  • Food you sample must be safe, labelled and allowed for public tasting.

1. Booking and confirmation

A booking is made online or through our sales team. It is confirmed, and these terms become a binding contract, when we receive the deposit.

We send a signed contract and tax invoice after confirmation.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are per square metre, in EGP for Egyptian companies and USD for companies outside Egypt, plus VAT where it applies.

Early-bird prices apply to bookings confirmed by 31 January 2027.

A 30% deposit is due on booking. The balance is due by 1 March 2027. Bookings made after 1 March 2027 are paid in full.

We may release a stand if the balance isn’t paid on time, after a written reminder.

3. Cancellation by the exhibitor

Cancel in writing to the organising team.

Before 1 March 2027: the deposit is kept; anything paid above it is refunded.

From 1 March 2027: the full stand price is due.

4. Stand allocation and changes

We allocate stands by zone and sector. We may move a stand or change its shape for safety or venue reasons, keeping its size as close as possible, and will tell you in writing.

You may not share or sublet your stand without our written agreement.

5. Build-up, stand design and dismantling

Build-up and dismantling times, stand height limits and technical rules are in the exhibitor manual, which forms part of these terms.

Space-only stands need design approval before build-up. Contractors must be registered with us.

Stands must be cleared by the end of the dismantling period; we may charge for removal and cleaning.

6. Products, sampling and claims

Only products from your listed sectors may be shown.

Food and drink for tasting must be safe, correctly labelled and served under the hygiene rules in the exhibitor manual. Products in the Product Testing Zone follow the zone’s own rules.

Organic, Halal and other certified claims must be backed by a valid certificate, available on request.

7. Matchmaking, leads and data

Your stand includes a HOS 365 catalogue page and access to matchmaking.

Lead data from badge scans and meeting requests may only be used to follow up on HOS-related business and in line with our privacy policy and the law.

The post-show report contains combined, anonymous figures unless a visitor chose to share their details with you.

8. Insurance and liability

You are responsible for your staff, goods and stand, and should hold suitable insurance for them.

We are not liable for loss or damage to your property except where caused by our negligence.

9. Force majeure

If the show can’t take place for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we may postpone it or move it. If it is cancelled, we will refund payments less costs already incurred on your behalf.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes go to the competent courts of Cairo.
